Join Thrive Central Oregon at the Tower Theater on Saturday, April 12, 2025 for the We Are Home Film Festival! This one-of-a-kind event showcases films that reflect home and belonging and it brings our region together to support our community.
Four documentary shorts will be screened during the event, centered on this year’s theme Voices for Housing. Filmed and produced in Portland, the feature short No Place to Grow Old explores the systemic challenges and deeply personal stories of a generation aging into homelessness. These stories and others at We Are Home echo what Advocates at Thrive hear every day from the folks they work with.
With thanks to our generous sponsors, 100% of ticket sales and donations from We Are Home will go directly back into the community. These funds will bolster Thrive’s Housing Fund, which provides application fees, rental, and deposit assistance to those working toward sustainable housing.
In addition to the films, attendees can join Thrive and community partners in the Tower Theatre lobby before the event to learn more about what is going on in the community. There will also be an incredible raffle of Central Oregon prizes and new Thrive gear available with donation.
