Foster Appreciation Event – Every Child Central Oregon

We’re gearing up for our Foster Appreciation Event on Sunday, May 18 in Bend—and we’d love for you to be part of the magic!

Last year was an unforgettable day! If you were there, you know how special it was. If not, check out this short highlight reel to see the joy, laughter, and impact you can be part of.

This year, we’re bringing back our booths and adding even more fun with:
• Axe throwing        • Face painting & hair tinsel
• Live music              • Free books
• Bounce houses      • Kona Ice
• A therapy dog       • Fancy coffee
• Carnival games    • And yes—even a baby kangaroo!

We have three volunteer shifts available:
• 12:30 – 2:30 PM – Setup
• 2:00 – 4:30 PM – Shift 1
• 4:00 – 6:30 PM – Shift 2

This event can’t happen without the generosity of all of YOU! Volunteers at this event can expect to help with specific activity booths and ensuring our guests have the magical time they are so deserving of.

Youth volunteers are welcome too! Volunteers 14 and older are invited to join the team. Youth volunteers ages 10–13 may be considered on a case-by-case basis—just send me an email if interested!
