June 3rd at The Old Resort Prineville Reservoir, the 13th Annual ‘Rip-N-Lips Invitational’ auction and bass fishing tournament to benefit the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF) is taking place!
A family-friendly event with kid activities, food, and beverages available for sale on-site. Over 100 auction items, raffle bags, swag, and apparel are on hand. The silent auction starts at 2:00, music by The Sleepless Truckers at 3:00, and the live auction starts at 4:00, followed by more music! The auction is open to the public, competitors in the fishing tournament will be a mix of active and retired firefighters and their families.
The Foundation’s vision is: “To honor, recognize, and support wildland firefighters, past, present, and future, and to provide resources to assist fallen and injured firefighters and their families.”
The tournaments and auctions have been one of the largest fundraisers for the Foundation and last year raised $77,000. With this being our 13th year of the event, our goal is to raise $80,000. This year with the Central Oregon communities’ help – we know we can make this historic mark!
Come enjoy the fresh air and support the WFF and your local wildland firefighters.
