All Bend area high schools and Bear Creek elementary are now clear from Secure, according to Bend La Pine School District’s website. Bend High School was in lockdown earlier Thursday after a threat was made. All Bend area high schools were also listed in “secure” status until being cleared. Out of an abundance of caution, police presence will be increased around schools for the rest of the afternoon.
